An ‘Across the Ages Celebration’ for the villagers of Leconfield, Arram and Scorborough with the option of bring your own picnic in the grounds or refreshments and catering available to purchase from midday until 8pm.

Bouncy castle, face painting, free children’s magic show and games, competitions with a royal theme, local stalls and demonstrations from the Bowls and Table Tennis clubs.

Free musical entertainment from our local choir The White Rose Singers and Ukelele group YUKS R US who will lead a Singalong with songs from throughout the last 70 years

Evening entertainment from Singer Laura Da Souza and rock band Alice in Thunderland.

Competitions Saturday 4th June.

  1. Dress Up – any era from the Queen’s reign. Prizes for best dressed adult and child.
  2. Paint the Queen-‘s portrait- prizes for ages 5 to 11, 11-adult.
  3. Photographic competition: Capture a local event or image of Leconfield, Arram or Scorborough.

Leconfield Village Quiz walk 3rd June 11am 3pm

  • Learn about Leconfield’s history!
  • Quiz sheets on the day at start/finish of walk at Castle Farmhouse, Main Street.
  • Refreshments including crepes available.
  • Completed quiz sheets will be entered into a prize draw and the winner announced Saturday at 4pm.

  • We want our villages to look their best for the Platinum Jubilee celebration. Please decorate your house if you can – there are lots of ideas online!
  • Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated houses in our villages.


  1. How do my children enter the Queen’s portrait competition? When and where do entries need to be sent?


  2. I would like to know why dogs are not allowed on the field as it was a family day out , it does not say nothing about dogs on the flyers or on this site.


  3. Lovely jubilee celebrations down at the recreation hub. Just a bit disappointed that dogs were not allowed 😩


    1. Hi Kerry, I’m glad you enjoyed the day. I’m very sorry however the playing field rules state no dogs, so we had to compile with this. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.
