Evaluation Summary: Leconfield Pedestrian Entrance Project

An online questionnaire was posted on the Facebook Leconfield Hub page and the Leconfield Parish Council website and ran for one week from 9thJanuary 2026.

Frequency of Visits to Local Facilities

Most respondents visit community facilities weekly or more often, with 22.7% visiting daily and 30.7% weekly.

2. Feedback on the New Pedestrian Entrance

Respondents report improved safety, visibility, and accessibility. Many feel safer crossing, and barriers are seen as beneficial for children.



3. Age Groups of Respondents

The respondents represented a total of 137 residents.

4. Mobility Considerations

Nearly half of respondents reported mobility-related needs such as pushchairs or walking aids, reinforcing the importance of accessible design.


Overall Conclusion

One respondent emailed to say that there was no opportunity to indicate that the entrance was not a significant improvement. However, overall feedback was strongly positive, noting better visibility, safer crossing, and improved access for children and mobility users.
