Overview
The Leconfield Parish Council (Lec PC) has been actively collaborating with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) Traffic & Highways Departments, as well as the Leconfield Community Speed Watch team. Together, we have undertaken efforts to address concerns regarding speeding, traffic flow, and road safety on the main arterial routes passing through Leconfield.
Areas of Concern
In addition to the primary roads, the initiative also focuses on residential streets and cul-de-sacs within Leconfield. These areas have been particularly affected by the ongoing issues related to traffic speed and movement, prompting further evaluation and discussion among all parties involved.
Further Information
For comprehensive documentation and supportive analysis provided by ERYC, please visit http://www.leconfieldparishconcil.co.uk. The website contains detailed reports and findings relevant to the road safety concerns in Leconfield.
Community Involvement
The next phase of the initiative involves holding a Community Consultation. This event is designed to ensure that every member of the parish is fully informed about the proposed speed reduction measures and understands the objectives and safety precautions being developed in collaboration with ERYC. The consultation will provide a platform for community members to voice their opinions, ask questions, and contribute to the alignment of the parish around these important road safety efforts.
